Russia will maintain 2012 oil exports at 2011 level - Energy Ministry
MOSCOW. Dec 6 (Interfax) - Russia's Energy Ministry predicts that oil exports from the country next year will be at about this year's level, Deputy Energy Minister Yury Sentyurin told the press.
"We are not planning either to decrease or increase them [exports]," Sentyurin said.
Per Fuel and Energy Dispatch Center (TsDU TEK) figures, exports of Russian oil to countries outside the former Soviet Union (Commonwealth of Independent States) amounted to 193.96 million tonnes in January-November (4.257 million barrels per day), which was 3.8% less year-on-year. Exports to CIS countries, on the other hand, were up 15.7% at 27.57 million tonnes.
There was 220.743 million tonnes of Russian oil exported to non-CIS countries and 26.262 million tonnes to CIS states in 2010.
