Grozny-Baku trunk oil pipeline blasted in Dagestan
ROSTOV-ON-DON. Dec 8 (Interfax) - The Grozny-Baku trunk oil pipeline has been blasted in the Karabudakhkent district of Dagestan, a local police source told Interfax.
"A bomb went off at the 242nd kilometer of the Grozny-Baku trunk oil pipeline at about 8:50 p.m.. The pipeline got a dent. There is no spill of petroleum products," he said.
Oil pumping continued, but the incident scene was taken under protection, the source said.
Demolition experts will check the surroundings for other possible bombs in the morning.
