Russian monetary base down 19.7 bln rubles to 6449.4 bln rubles

MOSCOW. Dec 9 (Interfax) - The narrow monetary base in Russia stood at 6449.4 bln rubles on December 5 down from 6469.1 bln rubles on November 28, the Central Bank reported on Friday.

The narrow monetary base includes cash in circulation (including cash held at credit institutions), and balances on banks' mandatory local-currency-deposit reserve accounts with the Central Bank.
