Rosinter ups consolidated sales revenue 7.5% in Jan-Nov
MOSCOW. Dec 12 (Interfax) - OJSC Rosinter Restaurants increased its consolidated sales revenues 7.5% to 8.966 billion rubles in January-November, a company press release says.
Company sales revenues were up 4.8% at 820 million rubles just in November.
Sales revenues at comparable restaurants were up 1.8% year-on-year for the eleven months, but down 3.1% just in November due to a 9.8% decrease in traffic partially offset by a 7.5% increase in the average customer check.
The average check grew 4.8% over the eleven months as traffic dipped 2.8%.
As of the end of last month, the company had 378 restaurants versus 360 one year earlier. Of those, 254 were corporate and 124 franchises. The chain has expanded by 16 outlets since this year began, and the company plans to open another 6 more before year-end.
The company is developing the networks Il Patio, Planet Sushi, and 1-2-3 Cafe, the T.G.I. Friday's and Sibirskaya Korona restaurants until licensing, and the coffeehouse chain Costa Coffee in a joint venture with Whitbread Plc.
