Stockman stores in Russia up sales 21% in Nov
MOSCOW. Dec 12 (Interfax) - Stockmann outlets in Russia saw sales increase 21.2% in the month of November, a statement from the Finnish group says.
An abrupt growth slowdown from 55% in October is attributable to a changed comparative base - in November of last year the trade center Nevsky opened in St. Petersburg, the company said.
Overall store sales revenues last month were up 6.4% at EUR 102.6 million, including 2.2% in Finland and 18% elsewhere.
Stockmann outlets generated EUR 1.08 billion in sales revenues over January-November, up 13.4% year-on-year.
Stockmann Group revenues for the eleven months were up 10.4% at EUR 1.76 billion and 6.6% at EUR 163.2 million for last month.
In Russia, Stockmann has five trade centers in Moscow and one each in St. Petersburg and Yekaterinburg. The company also has the Seppala, Lindex, and Bestseller store chains in Russia.
