EurAsEC summit to meet in Moscow again to set up integration agency - Medvedev

MOSCOW. Dec 19 (Interfax) - The Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC) will hold another summit in Moscow in the very near future to create a single body that will deal with integration matters, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev told a press conference after the EurAsEC and Eurasian Economic Council summits on Monday.

"In the very near future we shall hold yet another EurAsEc summit in Moscow so as to finally make a decision on how integration will be carried out," Medvedev said.

"We shall decide how this program will be implemented, how to form road maps and which bodies will be operating," he added.

"Obviously, a decision will have to be made so that a single agency deals with this matter and so that what has been created fully shifts into the working format of the Collegium (of the Eurasian Economic Commission) and the relevant EurAsEc agencies," Medvedev said.

The date of the summit will be set in the very near future, he said.
