Lukoil-Western Siberia earmarks over 6 bln rubles for building oilgas utilization facilities
KHANTY-MANSIYSK. Dec 27 (Interfax) - LLC Lukoil-Western Siberia, in the framework of a program for utilizing associated oil gas in 2009-2011, has earmarked over 6 billion rubles for the construction of 42 such facilities, the oil and gas company said on Tuesday.
Out of the planned 42 facilities, 24 are already in operation and 18 are ready for operation. The biggest facilities include gas-turbine thermal-plant (GTES) at the Vatyeganskoye field with 72 megawatts in capacity, GTES-48 at the Tevlinsko-Russkinskoye field, GTES-24 at Pyakyakhinskoye oil and gas condensate section, and a GTES with 48 megawatts in capacity at the Krasnoleninskoye field.
The company said in a statement that it would reach 95% utilization of oilgas at the start of 2012.
Oilgas utilization at four of the company's territorial production units, Langepasneftegaz, Kogalymneftegaz, Pokachevneftegaz, and Yamalneftegaz, comes to over 98%. In addition, TPP Uraineftegaz's utilization level will reach 95% in 2012. Lukoil-Western Siberia is now finishing the construction of a compressor station at the Filippovskoye field and a multiphase pump station at the Zapadno-Tugrovskoye field, as well as the reconstruction of a compress station at the Mortymya-Tereovskoye field.
LLC Lukoil-Western Siberia is one of the leading enterprises in Russia's oil sector. The company developed fields in the Khanty-Mansiysk and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Districts. Over 50% of Lukoil's oil and gas production comes from this enterprise. The bulk of oil production takes place in Khanty-Mansiysk. The company also produces natural gas in Yamal.
