Gazprom CFO predicts 2011 profit at same level with average market forecast
MOSCOW. Dec 27 (Interfax) - Gazprom's head financier Andrei Kruglov expects the company to have consolidated net profit of $40 billion for 2011, which precisely matches up with market expectations.
"By the end of the year, we plan to maintain stable growth in net profit. We expect that it will grow to $40 billion for the year, compared to $32 billion last year," he is quoted as saying on Gazprom's website.
According to Interfax's SPARK database, the average market forecast for Gazprom's net profit, on the basis of 18 banks' calculations, is $40.4 billion for 2011.
