Ananenkov leaves Gazprom, Vitaly Markelov from Tomsk to take his place

MOSCOW. Dec 30 (Interfax) - Gazprom deputy chief Alexander Ananenkov, who supervises the gas giant's production block and investment program, is leaving the company and will be replaced by Vitaly Markelov, who heads the gas transport block of Gazprom's subsidiary in the east of Russia, Gazprom said in a statement.

The decision was also made to disband Gazprom's strategic development department, headed by Vlada Rusakova. In place of that department, a new prospective development department and project work department will be created. Heads of these subdivisions will be appointed at a later date, the statement said.

In addition, 35-year-old Elena Mikhailova from Gazprom Mezhregiongaz will take over Olga Pavlova's position as head of the property management and corporate relations department.
