Transneft oil pumping exec could quit - source
MOSCOW. Dec 30 (Interfax) - Mikhail Arustamov, the Transneft first vice president responsible for compiling oil pumping schedules and procurement, could resign from the pipeline company, a source with knowledge of the situation told Interfax.
The source said Arustamov could step down in approximately a month, however he could stay on as an advisor to the company's president or head one of its affiliates.
Transneft spokesman Igor Dyomin told Interfax that Arustamov was currently on leave. "He is on leave and as far as I know he doesn't plan to quit the company," he said.
Arustamov was appointed first vice president of Transneft in 2007. Prior to that he was first deputy and acting general director of OJSC Zarubezhneft.
