Severstal to pay 3.36 rubles per share in dividends for 9M 2011

MOSCOW. Jan 10 (Interfax) - Russian steelmaker OJSC Severstal will pay dividends of 3.36 rubles per share for January-September 2011, the company said following a December 30 absentee shareholders meeting.

Severstal's board of directors recommended this dividend payout sum at the beginning of December.

Total dividend payouts for the period will come to around 3.39 billion rubles.

For January-September 2010, Severstal paid out 4.29 rubles per share in dividends. Payouts will therefore fall 22% for the same period in 2011.

Dividends for H1 2011 came to 4.37 rubles per share (totaling 4.4 billion rubles, or $152 million).

For Q1 2011, Severstal paid out 3.9 rubles per share in dividends (totaling about 4.2 billion rubles, or $145 million).

The registrar of shareholders with the right to receive dividends and participate in the meeting was closed on November 15.

Severstal's charter capital comprises 10,077,013 rubles, divided into 1,007,701,355 ordinary shares par value 1 kopeck.
