Gazprom gas reserves grow 686 bcm in 2011
MOSCOW. Jan 12 (Interfax) - Russian gas giant Gazprom prospecting resulted last year in reserve growth of a record 686.4 billion cubic meters (bcm) of gas, the company's information department told reporters.
The latest figures indicate, per company accounting methods, that production exceeded 513 bcm, so the reserve-renewal ratio was 133.8%.
