Presidential candidate Putin supports effective, fair fiscal policy
MOSCOW. Jan 12 (Interfax) - The state's fiscal policy should encourage the establishment of new enterprises, Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, who will run in the March 4 presidential election, said.
"The state's fiscal policy ought to be fair and effective. It should both help replenish the budget, stimulate the creation of new enterprises and expand the tax base. It will help ensure a high level of social support for the population," Putin said in his draft pre-election program, posted online.
"We will improve the quality of work with taxpayers by switching to full-fledged electronic document exchange with the tax authorities, reducing the time and number of tax audits and simplifying tax accounts," he said.
