Putin to submit his vision of problems faced by Russia for public debate

MOSCOW. Jan 16 (Interfax) - Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said he believes his task in the next few years is to "remove from the national development path" everything that hinders progress.

"It's only up to us how we respond to today's challenges and how we use our chance to strengthen ourselves and our position in the rapidly changing world. In the next few weeks, I intend to submit for public debate more specific ideas on this matter," Putin said in his article published on the website www.putin2012.ru.

Putin said there is a need to complete the creation in Russia of a political system, a structure of social guarantees and protections, an economic model that will together make a unified living, constantly developing and simultaneously stable and healthy state organism" capable of "unconditionally guaranteeing Russia's sovereignty and the prosperity of citizens of the great power for decades ahead and protect justice and the dignity of every person, truth and trust in the state and society."

Putin said a new generation of creative and responsible people who see the future. "They are already coming and, of course, will continue coming to the administrations of enterprises and whole industries, government establishments, and the entire country," the article says.
