Ex OGK-3 chief Kolmogorov becomes head of Norilsk energy division

MOSCOW. Jan 16 (Interfax) - Former general director of OJSC OGK-3 Vladimir Kolmogorov became the head of MMC Norilsk Nickel's strategic power development division in December 2011, a Norilsk representative told Interfax.

Before his appointment, since May 2011 Kolmogorov served as advisor to Norilsk's general director on questions related to work and development of the group's fuel and energy complex facilities. In this position, he supervised the development of energy facilities ensuring the functioning of production units at mining and metallurgical complexes.

In May 2011, Kolmogorov left his post as general director of OGK-3, control over which passed from Norilsk to Inter RAO UES . Inter RAO representative Alexander Nikulov became the new chief of OGK-3.

Kolmogorov headed OGK-3 since February 2009. In 2001-2005, he was the head of Irkutskenergo . Later, he took up the post of chief of LLC EuroSibEnergo Engineering.

The deal on selling Norilsk's stake in OGK-3 was wrapped up at the end of March 2011. In exchange for the 81.93% stake, Norilsk received Inter RAO shares placed in the framework of an additional shares issue (Norilsk's stake in Inter RAO's capital is around 13%).
