Ukraine's Energoatom raises capex 6% to $226 mln in 2011
KYIV. Jan 19 (Interfax) - Energoatom, Ukraine's state nuclear power company, financed capital expenditures of 1.809 billion hryvnia (about $226.4 million) in 2011, 6.3% more than in 2010.
The company reported that the application of capital expenditures rose by 1.1% to 1.806 billion hryvnia in 2011.
Energoatom in 2011 increased payments to budgets at various levels of government and insurance contributions by 34.7% to 5.566 billion hryvnia, including 4.268 billion hryvnia paid into the budget system.
Energoatom plans to raise three-year credit lines of $40 million and $25 million, according to a statement on the Government Procurements website.
Bids will be accepted until February 15 and revised the same day.
Energoatom operates 15 power-generating units at the country's four nuclear plants, which are outfitted with water-cooled reactors with total installed generating capacity of 13,835 gigawatts.
