Azerbaijan cuts oil production 10.5%, gas production 2.2% in 2011

BAKU. Jan 19 (Interfax) - Azerbaijan produced 45.371 million tonnes of oil in 2011 (10.5% less than in 2010) and 25.723 billion cubic meters (bcm) of gas (2.2% less than 2010), Azerbaijan's State Statistics Committee told Interfax.

In 2010, Azerbaijan produced 50.796 million tonnes of oil and 26.35 bcm of gas, according to the the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijani Republic (SOCAR).
