FAS to submit plan for Russian petroleum products market in spring

MOSCOW. Jan 24 (Interfax) - The Russian Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) will submit a plan for the development of the petroleum products market in the spring, FAS chief Igor Artemiyev told reporters.

"We'll submit the plan of action in the spring," he said, adding that the plan was intended to normalize the situation in the Russian petroleum products

Artemiyev said he was sure a "market and transparent system for trade in petroleum products" would be formed.

One option, he said, was to create a unified trading session for petroleum products on the exchange. It was expected these sessions would begin at the start of the year.
