RusHydro boosts 9M IFRS earnings 19.3% to 33.2 bln rubles, below forecast
MOSCOW. Jan 31 (Interfax) - RusHydro boosted net profit 19.3% year-on-year in January-September 2011 to 33.16 billion rubles, the hydrogenerating company said in a statement.
This was slightly below the 34.16 billion rubles that analysts predicted in a consensus forecast for Interfax.
Earnings before taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) grew 6% to 53.64 billion rubles, which was also just below a forecast 54.97 billion rubles due, the company said, to a higher percentage of sales at unregulated prices in the framework of wholesale electricity market liberalization, and higher unregulated electricity prices.
