Kola NPP generates 0.2% more electricity in Jan
MURMANSK. Feb 1 (Interfax) - Kola Nuclear Power Plant in Murmansk region generated 1.09 billion kilowatt hours of electricity in January 2012, up 0.2% year-on-year, the plant reported.
All four reactors at the plant were in operation as of February 1 2012. The plant's schedule shows that utilized capacity is at 1,513 megawatts.
Kola NPP is the largest energy company in the Kola Peninsula with capacity of 1,760 megawatts. It supplies electricity to Russian consumers and exports to Finland and Norway.
