Ruble may continue to strengthen in short term - Klepach

MOSCOW. Feb 1 (Interfax) - The Economic Development Ministry believes that in the short term, the ruble can continue strengthening; Deputy Economic Development Minister Andrei Klepach told reporters.

"In the short term, ruble strengthening can continue," he said. "There are no conditions so far to change the trend," he said.

Neither are there are any reasons for strong fluctuations in the exchange rate, so it will remain more or less stable, he said.
