Putin to meet with business people to intensify fight against corruption
MOSCOW. Feb 2 (Interfax) - Prime Minister Vladimir Putin intends to hold a series of meetings with representatives of the business community to discuss the fight against corruption.
"We need to convert the rejection of corruption by society into citizens' concrete and committed participation in the fight against this evil. We have proposals to make on how this should be done," Putin told the Russia-2012 investment forum on Thursday.
Putin also said he would speak about this at a meeting of the Supervisory Council of the Strategic Initiatives Agency next week during the congress of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
Citizens should take an active part in shaping the anti-corruption agenda, he said.
