Green Fuels to invest 320 mln rubles in production of biofuel raw materials in Tver Region

TVER. Feb 7 (Interfax) - International company Green Fuels is investing 320 million rubles to set up production of biofuel raw materials in the Rzhevsk District of Tver Region, a spokesman for the regional administration told Interfax.

Representatives of Green Fuels and Governor Andrei Shevelev signed an agreement on this investment project in Tver on Tuesday, he said.

The project, which calls for growing raw material for the production of biofuel (synthetic kerosene), will create 50 new jobs, the spokesman said.

The venture is expected to be launched in December 2012.

The spokesman said that more than 80 investment projects with a total of 136 billion rubles are currently underway in the Tver Region.
