Russia had consolidated budget surplus of 2.6 trillion rubles in 11M
MOSCOW. Feb 8 (Interfax) - Russia had a consolidated budget surplus of 2.641 trillion rubles in January-November 2011, compared with a deficit of 100.1 billion rubles in the same period of 2010, the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) said, quoting preliminary data.
Consolidated budget revenue, including state extra-budgetary funds, totaled 18.7 trillion rubles, up from 14.065 trillion rubles in the same period of 2010; and consolidated spending was 16.029 trillion rubles, up from 14.617 trillion rubles.
Tax revenues to the consolidated budget in January-November included 4.125 trillion rubles from foreign economic activities or 22.1% of overall revenue; 3.104 trillion rubles in compulsory social insurance contributions (16.6%); 2.118 trillion rubles in corporate profit tax (11.3%); 1.896 trillion rubles from taxes, levies and royalties for the use of natural resources (10.2%); 1.669 trillion rubles from personal income tax (9.1%); 1.548 trillion rubles VAT on goods sold in Russia; 1.344 trillion rubles VAT on goods brought into in Russia; 660 billion rubles in property tax; 551.3 billion rubles excise on goods made in Russia; and 41.3 billion rubles excise on goods brought into Russia.
Consolidated budget expenditures in January-November included 9.474 trillion rubles on social and cultural programs; 1.965 trillion rubles on the national economy; 1.102 trillion rubles on national defense; 1.19 trillion rubles on national security and law enforcement; 1.082 trillion rubles on general government needs; 894.9 billion rubles on the housing and public utilities sector; and 293.7 billion rubles on government and municipal debt servicing.
Russia's federal budget surplus totaled 1.369 trillion rubles in January-November 2011, compared with a deficit of 891.7 billion rubles in the same period of 2010. Revenue was 10.165 trillion rubles (7.432 trillion rubles a year previously) and spending - 8.795 trillion rubles (8.323 trillion rubles).
