Russia's arms exports were worth $13.2 bln in 2011 - FSVTS

MOSCOW. Feb 15 (Interfax-AVN) - Russia exported $13.2 billion in arms to foreign buyers in 2011, while its current stock of orders is worth $40 billion, said Mikhail Dmitriyev, the head of the Federal Military-Technical Cooperation Service (FSVTS).

"Under the plan for 2011, weapons and military hardware worth $11.6 billion were to be exported. We exceeded it and sold $13.2 billion in military-purpose products," Dmitriyev told the media on Wednesday.

The Federal Military-Technical Cooperation Service's stock of orders "currently exceeds $40 billion," he said.
