Rosneft might raise 40.5 bln rubles in loans from Gazprombank

MOSCOW. Feb 17 (Interfax) - Rosneft might raise 40.48 billion rubles in loans from Gazprombank , the oil company said in a statement.

This transaction has already received the approval of the company's board of directors.

The loans might be raised either in rubles of other currencies (euro or dollars). At the same time, the placement of funds in banks and the purchase/sale of forex equal to this amount have been also approved.

In addition, the board allowed the option of placing 40.48 billion rubles in accounts with Rossiya Bank.

The board also approved as several transactions with its subsidiaries, such as CJSC RN-Shelf-Dalnyi Vostok. For this deal, the subsidiary will implement geological survey of offshore sections in the Okhotsk, Karsk and Pechora Seas. The project is valued at 485.76 million rubles.
