Russian consulting company IT-Box starts work in Kazakhstan

ALMATY. Feb 17 (Interfax) - Russian consulting company IT-Box has opened an office in Kazakhstan and begun implementing two projects for automating production accounting for local enterprises, the company's chief Andrei Botnev told journalists in Almaty on Friday.

"Right now we are implementing two projects in Kazakhstan. The first is at the company JSC Altynalmas, where a solution on the basis of Microsoft Dynamics Ax is being embedded. The second is at the company Scania Central Asia, where a comprehensive solution on the basis of Microsoft Dynamics Ax and 1C is being introduced," he said.

Projects for embedding solutions at logistics companies, especially those engaged in cargo handling, now make up the basis of IT-Box's portfolio. However, the company also hopes to cooperate with representatives of the extractive industry in Kazakhstan, Botnev said.

IT-Box was created in Moscow in 2007. Besides consulting, it also specializes in developing, embedding and supporting information systems: ERP, CRM, corporate portals and document management systems, business analysis and forecasting, logistics process automation systems and WMS.
