Yandex boosts Q4 US GAAP earnings 51%, above forecast

MOSCOW. Feb 21 (Interfax) - Yandex boosted net profit to US GAAP 51% year-on-year in Q4 2011 to 2.1 billion rubles, the company, which operates Russia's largest Internet search engine, said in a statement.

This was better than the 40.5% growth to 1.97 billion rubles that analysts predicted in a consensus forecast for Interfax.
