Belarus could adjust prices, supply volumes of dairy products to Russia - ministry

MOSCOW. Feb 22 (Interfax) - Belarus could adjust indicative prices for dairy products and change the amount it supplies to Russia following the National Milk Producers Union's (Soyuzmoloko) appeal to the Russian and Belarusian Agriculture Ministries.

"Belarus has confirmed its readiness to adjust indicative prices and volumes of dairy product supplies to Russia in order to prevent dumping and excess supply on the Russian market," Russia's Agriculture Ministry said with reference to Agriculture Minister Elena Skrynnik.

On Wednesday, Skrynnik held telephone negotiations with Belarusian First Deputy Agriculture and Food Minister Nadezhda Kotkovets.
