PepsiCo appoints new CEO at Wimm-Bill-Dann

MOSCOW. Feb 27 (Interfax) - PepsiCo has appointed a new chief executive officer at its wholly owned Russian food and beverage unit Wimm-Bill-Dann Foods (WDB) .

Maxim Mikhailov, vice president for legal affairs at WBD, replaces Dmitry Ivanov, whose contract expired on February 27, WBD said in a statement.

Ivanov is stepping down by mutual consent.

Mikhailov will combine his present post with that of CEO, PepsiCo told Interfax. He will serve as CEO for five years.

PepsiCo closed the acquisition of WBD in September last year. After the purchase, PepsiCo became the biggest food and beverage manufacturer in Russia and strengthening its positions in the growing eastern European and central Asian markets. Annual revenue in Russia is up to $5 billion.
