Dixy boosts revenue 88% to 11 bln rubles in Jan
MOSCOW. Feb 28 (Interfax) - Dixy Group boosted consolidated sales revenue 88.2% year-on-year in January to 11 billion rubles, the retailer said in a statement.
Sales grew 79.6 in dollars to $347.6 million.
The figures include the Victoria chain, which Dixy bought on June 15. Pro-forma revenue grew 17.8% in rubles and 12.5% in dollars.
The combined company opened eight new convenience stores in January and had 1,126 stores altogether at the end of the month, including 1,076 convenience stores, 31 supermarkets, 18 hypermarkets and one cash and carry.
Dixy operates in three Federal Districts of Russia: Central, Northwest, Urals, and in Kaliningrad region.
