Putin: state will support business
MOSCOW. Feb 29 (Interfax) - Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said decisions on improving the business climate in Russia will be made on the basis of proposals from the business community.
"All our decisions on improving the investment climate will be based on proposals made by businesses accumulated in the national business initiative," Putin said while meeting with Popular Front representatives, his supporters, and political scientists on Wednesday.
"We should be string and competitive, especially now that complex processes are taking place in the global economy," he said.
Putin promised to help Russian businesses grow stronger.
"We will provide support through large-scale development of the infrastructure, public private partnerships, and direct support of high-tech investment projects. We will promote our products, technologies, and services on the world markets," Putin said.
