Armenia ups ferromolybdenum output 6.6% in Jan
YEREVAN. Feb 29 (Interfax) - Armenia raised ferromolybdenum output 6.6% year-on-year in January to 451 tonnes, the National Statistics Service said.
Molybdenum concentrate production grew 9.5% to 796 tonnes, converter copper production grew 29.3% to 798 tonnes, copper concentrate grew 20% to 11,553 tonnes and zinc concentrate grew 2.7% to 1,254 tonnes.
The Rusal-Armenal foil mill produced 2,204 tonnes of aluminum foil, level with January last year, and 5.2 tonnes of other aluminum goods, up 23.8%.
Armenia exports all of its metals, mostly to Europe.
