Latvijas gaze earnings edge up 2.7% in 2011
RIGA. March 1 (Interfax/BNS) - Latvian natural gas distributor Latvijas gaze reported net profit up 2.7% to LVL 27.175 million in 2011.
Turnover was flat at LVL 353.338 million, the company said in a report distributed through Nasdaq OMX.
Latvijas gaze buys, transports, stores and distributes gas. The company's largest shareholders are Russian gas giant Gazprom , Itera Latvija and Germany's E.ON Ruhrgas.
The lat is tied to the euro at a rate of LVL 0.7028/1 euro.
