Conditions were not equal for presidential candidates - OSCE observers
MOSCOW. March 5 (Interfax) - Conditions were not equal for the candidates in the Russian presidential elections, election monitors representing the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) said on Monday.
Although the presidential candidates in yesterday's elections had the opportunity to run their campaign without hindrance, the conditions were apparently shifted in favor of one of the candidates, the current prime minister, Vladimir Putin, the international election monitors said in a statement.
The elections were marked by citizens' active participation, they said.
