New persons unaffiliated to ruling party may become government members - Peskov
MOSCOW. March 5 (Interfax) - Prime Minister, presidential election winner Vladimir Putin's press secretary Dmitry Peskov predicts a government reshuffle.
"Hopefully, we will see new people in the government, including some unaffiliated to the ruling party. Let us not forget that certain opposition members are already working in the government," he told Russia Today.
Putin has said that "the new government will undergo serious changes in the respect of personalities rather than structure," he noted.
Putin did not conceal "his intention to appoint Dmitry Medvedev as the Prime Minister from the beginning," Peskov said. "He did not mislead anyone - he told people about his plans in advance. By supporting Putin, people actually supported his plans."
