Rosnedra to put up 42 Yakutia coal, gold, silver and stibium sections for auction in 2012
YAKUTSK. March 7 (Interfax) - Russia's Federal Subsoil Agency (Rosnedra) plans to put up 42 subsoil sections in Yakutia for tender this year for the development and production of coal, gold, silver and stibium, the head of the Yakutia Subsoil Agency's licensing department, Nadezhda Fedorova, told Interfax.
Fedorova told Interfax that Rosnedra had confirmed the list of subsoil sections for tender this year. "The terms for each individual tenders are now being developed," she said.
The roster includes two gold and silver ore sections, two gold ore and stibium sections, 29 gold placer deposits, two coal sections, six gold ore sections and one dunstone section (raw materials for the production of cinder wool).
The biggest coal fields among those for tender are Kabaktinskoye (C1 reserves at 127.69 million tonnes and C2 - 411.009 million tonnes), and Sylakhkhskoye (B reserves - 16.321 million tonnes and C1 - 199.238 million tonnes, C2 - 5.318 million tonnes). The biggest of the gold fields is Malo-Tarynsky (C2 gold reserves - 12,540 kilograms, C2 balance-sheet reserves - 483 kilograms). The biggest silver field is Dzholakagskoye ore field (forecast P2 reserves at 961 tonnes).
