NOVATEK boosts adjusted Q4 earnings 24% to 15 bln rubles, below forecast

MOSCOW. March 7 (Interfax) - NOVATEK boosted net profit to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) 24% in Q4 2011 to 15.027 billion rubles, the gas producer said in a statement

This was below the 16.04 billion rubles that analysts predicted in a consensus forecast for Interfax.

Sales revenue grew 48% to 50.647 billion rubles after analysts forecast 48.637 billion rubles.

Adjusted net profit for the full year 2011 rose 45% to 56.7 billion rubles, and revenue was up 50% to 176.064 billion rubles.
