Putin orders to increase pensions for late applicants

MOSCOW. March 16 (Interfax) - Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has said there should be mechanisms to incentivize the citizens who would like to continue working after reaching the retirement age.

"I asked [the Health Care and Social Development Ministry] to work out jointly with the Pension Fund a mechanism for increasing a pension in the event of a late application," Putin said at a meeting with senior officials at the ministry.
