MOSCOW. March 17 (Interfax) - Svetlana Proskuryakova has filed a lawsuit as an individual against the Russian Federal Subsurface Resources Agency (Rosnedra) with the Moscow Court of Arbitration, seeking invalidation of a license issued to Bashneft-Polus to develop the Trebs-Titov oilfield.
Bashneft-Polus and Bashneft will act as third parties in the proceedings, the court said.
A source aware of the situation told Interfax that Proskuryakova had asked the court to invalidate the re-issuance of a license to develop the Trebs-Titov oilfield from Bashneft to its subsidiary Bashneft-Polus.
Proskuryakova questioned Bashneft-Polus's qualifications as a developer of subsurface resources, which it was supposed to meet in line with Russian law at the moment when the license of re-issued.
The suit was filed on March 14. The court has accepted the suit and scheduled the first hearing for May 4, 2012.
