Russia's foreign debt decreases slightly in Feb - MinFin
MOSCOW. March 20 (Interfax) - Russia's foreign state debt in February 2012 decreased by $47.6 million, or 0.1%, to $35.7289 billion, the Ministry of Finance said in its materials on foreign state debt.
Russia's foreign debt in euro decreased by 597.5 million euro in February to 27.582 billion euro.
Debt owed to international organizations decreased in the month by $28.3 million to $2.467 billion.
At the same time, debt owed to country members and former members of the Council for Mutual Economic Assistance increased by $10.7 million to $1.0223 billion and decreased in euro by 7.9 billion euro to 760.6 million euro.
Debt owed to members of the Paris Club decreased by $24.2 million to $530.5 million in February (in euro, down 26.7 million euro to 394.7 million euro).
Russia's foreign debt also includes the country's guarantees in foreign currencies. This figure decreased by $6.2 million to $998.5 million in February.
The bulk of Russian debt is in foreign bonds, the debt on which went unchanged in February and came to $29.183 billion on March 1.
