Ukrtransnafta cuts oil flows 12.5% in Jan-Feb
KYIV. March 20 (Interfax) - JSC Ukrtransnafta, Ukraine's oil transport monopoly, cut oil flows 12.5% year-on-year to 4.233 million tonnes in January-February 2012, the Ukrainian Energy and Coal Industry Ministry said.
Oil transit to Western European countries (Slovakia, Hungary and the Czech Republic) was down 16.4% to 2.687 million tonnes in the two months.
Oil transport to Ukrainian refineries declined 4.6% to 1.546 million tonnes.
Last year, Ukrtransnafta reduced oil transit to Western European countries by 11.8% to 17.771 million tonnes.
Ukrtransnafta is the operator of Ukraine's oil transport system. Ukraine's national oil and gas company Naftogaz Ukrainy manages 100% of its shares.
