Oil companies supply same amount of gasoline to Russian market in Feb as in Jan
MOSCOW. March 23 (Interfax) - Oil companies' refineries (except mini-oil refineries) supplied 2.66 million tonnes of automobile gasoline to the Russian market in February 2012, practically the same amount they supplied in January, according to data from the Central Dispatching Department of the Fuel and Energy Complex (CDU TEK).
The majority of fuel was supplied by Lukoil , which shipped a total of 474,900 tonnes to the Russian market, or 16.7% more than in January. Lukoil therefore regained its leading position after Rosneft outperformed it in January. Other suppliers included Gazprom Neft - 462,100 tonnes (-3%); Rosneft - 430,400 tonnes (-11%); Bashneft - 318,600 tonnes (-14.5%); TNK-BP - 308,200 tonnes (-1.7%); Slavneft - 188,600 tonnes (-11%); Gazprom - 189,000 tonnes (+5%); and Surgutneftegas - 132,400 tonnes (up 1.7-fold).
Of those gasoline supplies, 2.572 million tonnes were high-octane gasoline. Lukoil supplied 472,500 tonnes of high-octane gasoline (+17.1%); Gazprom Neft - 437,900 tonnes (-0.4%), Rosneft - 410,000 tonnes (-13%), TNK-BP - 308,200 tonnes (-1.7%), Bashneft - 305,600 tonnes (-14.2%), Gazprom - 189,000 tonnes (+8.4%), Slavneft - 186,000 tonnes (-12%), and Surgutneftegas - 121,500 tonnes (1.7-fold growth).
Low-octane gasoline supplies to Russia fell 1.2% in February to 88,000 tonnes. Gazprom Neft supplied 24,200 tonnes (-33.3%), Rosneft - 20,400 tonnes (up 1.7-fold), and Bashneft - 13,000 tonnes (-20.2%).
Oil companies sent 318,500 tonnes of gasoline for export in February, 108,800 tonnes of which were high-octane gasoline (-47.4%) and 209,700 tonnes of which were low-octane (+2.4%). The leader in exports was Gazprom Neft, with 84,900 tonnes (+11.4%), followed by Surgutneftegas - 62,000 tonnes (-54.5%), Bashneft - 43,400 tonnes (+19.2%), Rosneft - 30,100 tonnes (+16.2%), and Gazprom neftekhim Salavat - 27,400 tonnes (-44.5%). Lukoil did not export any gasoline.
