TransContainer ups TEU handling 10.7% to 347,000 in Q1

MOSCOW. April 10 (Interfax) - OJSC TransContainer increased the amount of cargo it handled 10.7% to 347,000 TEU (twenty-foot equivalent units) in the first quarter of this year, the company reported.

"The dynamics of shipping was determined mainly by growth in the volume of export and transit operations that increased a respective 17.4% and four times, as import volume decreased 8.4%," the company statement said.
