NOVATEK boosts gas output 9.2% in Q1, liquid hydrocarbon production up 5.8%

MOSCOW. April 10 (Interfax) - Independent gas producer NOVATEK increased gas output 9.2% to 14.66 billion cubic meters in the first quarter of 2012, the company said in a statement.

The statement said production of liquid hydrocarbons went up by 5.8% to 1.084 million tonnes.

Total processing of deethanized gas condensate at Purovsky Processing Plant came to 992,500 tonnes in the first quarter.

Total sales of stabilized gas condensate for export, according to the company's preliminary information, came to 623,000 tonnes, which was a 14% decrease from the same period of 2011 (723,000 tonnes).

As of March 31, 1.4 million cubic meters of natural gas and 352,000 tonnes of stabilized gas condensate had been put down as "goods in transit" and "leftover production" in reserves.
