Lukoil gets vice president for oil, gas production
MOSCOW. April 17 (Interfax) - Azat Shamsuarov, who was previously Lukoil's vice president and the general director of LLC Lukoil-West Siberia, has been appointed Lukoil's vice president for oil and gas production, the company said in a press release.
Lukoil's management structure did not previously have the position of vice president with this specialization. On its website, the company said that its First Executive Vice President Ravil Maganov supervises both exploration and production, and that Vice President Vladimir Mulyak oversees technologies and development of oil and gas fields.
The new general director of Lukoil-West Siberia will be Sergei Kochkurov, who was previously the company's first deputy general director and chief engineer.
Kochkurov was born in 1963 and graduated from the Ufa Petroleum Institute in 1986. In 2004, he graduated from the Tyumen State Oil and Gas University, and in 2009 he graduated from the Petroleum Business Institute. He worked at NGDU Vatyeganeft from 1986-1995, and held various positions at Lukoil-West Siberia starting in 1995.
