Bashneft increases IFRS net profit 19% to $1.696 bln in 2011, in line with earlier forecasts

MOSCOW. April 19 (Interfax) - Bashneft's net profit for shareholders according to international financial reporting standards (IFRS) came to $1.696 billion for 2011, up 18.7% from 2010, the company said in a statement.

Analysts at 13 investment companies and banks surveyed by Interfax earlier forecast the company to post $1.698 billion in IFRS net profit for last year.
