Duma to consider prime ministerial candidate May 8

MOSCOW. April 24 (Interfax) - The Russian State Duma has decided to hold an extraordinary plenary session on May 8 to consider a prime ministerial candidate.

Vladimir Putin's presidential inauguration is scheduled for May 7, after which he is expected to immediately submit a candidacy for prime minister to the Duma for consideration.
