MOSCOW. April 27 (Interfax) - The Russian government has approved the indexation of gas prices by 15% as of July 1 in both 2013 and 2014, and 14.6-15% as of July 1, 2015, Deputy Economic Development Minister Andrei Klepach said at a briefing Thursday after a meeting of the government presidium.
"In 2013 and 2014 there are plans for indexation of 15% as of July 1. For 2015 there is still a spread of 14.6-15%," Klepach said.
Klepach also said that instructions have been issued to consider the indexation of railroad rates in 2013-2015 according to the formula "inflation plus." These calculations will have to be made by the end of the summer, he said.
