Russian monetary base up 40.5 bln rubles to 6907.0 bln rubles

MOSCOW. April 27 (Interfax) - The narrow monetary base in Russia stood at 6907.0 bln rubles on April 23 up from 6866.5 bln rubles on April 16, the Central Bank reported on Friday.

The narrow monetary base includes cash in circulation (including cash held at credit institutions), and balances on banks' mandatory local-currency-deposit reserve accounts with the Central Bank.
